For over 50 years..
The history of Busch-Baiser
The company’s history began in 1967 when the businessman Rolf Busch acquired the Hamburg-based meringue company Wilhelm Heinrich Schnake. During this time, he discovered his passion for meringue and began producing it by hand. The first product of the company, made with just one piping bag, was the hand-formed Hamburger Meringue Shell. In 1987, Marko Busch, the second generation, joined the company. Together, they have consistently expanded the product range.
In 1988, the company moved to its new headquarters to Bargteheide, where production continued by hand in the new production halls. Gradually, machines were introduced into the facilities, combining craftsmanship with automation to meet the growing demand. The company’s own fleet of Busch-Baiser trucks, was also expanded. In 2017, the third generation, Caroline Busch, joined the company.
